    was good new to hear about them being available again, Spoke to Scott @ canoe people in Whitehorse and he will have some Hudson bay's this spring.... should never have sold mine but at least I can get another this year......

    north61, looks like you had some great family adventures in yours. Im eager to get back on some of those great yukon rivers this year

    That's for sure! Trying to find some sheep mountains by those rivers is a trick we will be working on this year.

    I talked to him yesterday
    he told me he has 2 long shaft and 2 short, he said they will be in Whitehorse 27

    Anybody know what the layup is on the new Scott HB? Are they using the chopped mat fiberglass like the previous (now defunct) owners? They sent me some info via email, but, went strangely silent when asked about their layup. I was hoping they had improved the fiberglass since they are now offering a Kevlar version by special order. One can only hope or maybe the Whitehorse dealer can shed some light on this...

    Scott always offered a Kevlar Version. Probably a similar lay up as before.

    Saw a nice James Bay, olive colored on Kenai Lake , owner lives near the Lake nice boat, powered by a 20 HP Honda.

    they are in town now ... long or short transom, beige olive or red.

    a shame plug as im trying to sell my old wooden canvas fiberglassed gelcoated one to buy one of those new ones.

    20 feet long 4 feet wide at the largest can haul two people the camping gear and two mooses, 15 to 25 hp long shaft needed it worked with a 6 and 9.hp. but if the wind is against wont push enough when loaded.

    engine and trailer not coming with.

    asking $4000cad ...
