Default three weeks till draw results

with the last cold snap behind us...

I know we are all dreaming of the hunts that we will draw for...

and the hunts we will do iffen we don't draw....

and of course, the hunts we will do because we are hunters.

good luck to all in their indeavers.

Since I am in the process of buying a new home, I'm sure to draw three or four tags that cost the most money to hunt!!

    JOAT,

I said "cold snap" not winter... LOL

yes, I know there will be more cold snaps coming....

however it WAS above zero here today ---- 3 above.

and it's only 21 BELOW right now..

but, that's lots more better than 40 to 50 below for us asthmatics

I'm really looking forward to the "they're out" threads, and the "that guy got more tags than me, it's a conspiracy" threads, and of course the "that guy drew a 0.0001% tag and hasn't scouted it yet so he must be a jerk to ask about the area here" threads.....oh, and don't forget the "I didn't draw a tag, now I'm screwed" threads.

But yes, I do see this as an exciting time of year, it makes it seem like hunting season is just around the corner.

As for tags, I hope my wife draws something this year, but she's only in on some really hard to get stuff, so it probably won't happen. Oh, and I hope my brother in law gets a tag.

Its getting to the point where I don't even know why I bother to bribe them anymore. I just end up throwing away the tags anyway.

I think you meant to say "I hope Brian M draws a tag", and to that I say thank you, sir! I wish you well also!

Kidding aside, good luck to your wife and brother-in-law. I'm always far happier when my wife draws a tag than when I do. I had my round of luck last year - I'm hoping she pulls something good this time around. In addition, I'm really pulling for my nephew to pull something that we can hunt together. Just over two weeks now!

I agree Brian it is always more fun for me to take other people out than pull the trigger myself. Put my 10yr old son in for a bunch this year and I hope he gets drawn for somthing, but either way he will be by my side this year looking for his first big critter.

One of the best "hunts" I ever went on was last year, watching my wife take her first moose. Something satisfying in seeing her check off another bucket list item. For me, I enjoy the hunt, whether I'm pulling the trigger or packing the out the meat. This year, I'm hoping for my girls to draw something, if not, there are always plans b,c,d,e.....

I'm not expecting anything. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Well, since the start of last fall's hunting season, I decided to grow a "good luck" beard for the draws. Part laziness and part optomistic, but I can't wait for the 20th to come around this thing is outta control!

But now if you draw, you'll have to keep the lucky beard till the hunt!!
