Default Does anyone work on older Evinrudes on the K Penninsula??

I have an 81 40HP tiller "Commercial" model that needs the shift linkage connected and the lower part put back together. I don't have the time to keep dinking with it. Needs a gasket for the lower housing and mounting bolts as well.
    Any ideas?

Two places come to mind. One is Dan Paulk, who has a shop down by the river off of Chichanski. Another is a place way out at the end of Funny River Road... can't remember the name of it. Of the two Danny was the better priced and always gave me good service. I wouldn't be surprised if the small engines place on the Spur Highway would do that job for you.

Dan Polk is a really good mechanic and really good with outboards. I have also used garth's outboard repair and have been happy every time I have used him. Either of those two and you will be pleased with the work
