    Default Penny- Dave. Longley's dog

Penny is currently at the Homer animal shelter looking to be adopted. She is a 45-50# brindled wire haired terrier type. Very sweet, about 8 years old. She's a great boat dog and deserves a better fate. I would help facilitate getting her to another part of the state.

Nice of you to post this thread. I hope she finds a good home, one with a boat would be a bonus.

I hope she finds a good home. If I didn't already have a house full of rescues and wasn't in Texas I'd take her in a heart beat. Hope someone can help.

I went by to spring her today and the lady at the shelter said a gal from soldotna had driven down to see Penny, brought her hound to meet her. They all got along, and with luck she will come back and get Penny Monday or Tuesday. If not, I'm gonna bust her out and there is another couple in town here interested in her. Things look good for her, but if she isn't adopted early next week I will bring her home and work on placing her from here.

That's great news dave. I will be home from work this week and probably come down to Homer to work on the boat so if the gal from Soldotna does not take her I just may be able to talk the wife into it. Keep us posted please.

So I sprung Penny and she's at our place. Gets along with all of our dogs and is really excited to not be in jail. Anybody wants to meet her and see if she is meant to be their dog can call me at 399-2340.

A much better news story than all the insane news coming from around the world. Your karma cup floweth over....

It's not the karma cup that's running over...it's the space in front of the fireplace. Penny is the one closest to the camera.

I have her at the house. She's playful and calm, obviously really smart. Getting along with all 4 of our other dogs, but seriously, I've reached critical mass here....240lbs of dogs trying to sleep in front of the stove...there's just not room!!!
