    Default Nothing Like Winter Bows

Not many things are better than 44 degrees, eyelets not freezing, and 25+ bows... In January... In Alaska. I have never seen anything like it. Here are a couple of pictures. We has about 7 eagles that were scoping us out while we were fishing. My buddy actually had an eagle swoop down and take a bow right out of the water. Ended up breaking his line off. One of the craziest things I've seen. Then, about 10 minutes later he went to pose for a pick and the eagle over his shoulder came down and tried to take another one. The picture is priceless. The look on his face says it all!

You need to use an online hosting site like Photobucket so we can see your pics.

    Corey,

Your Dad showed me the pics and told me the story about the eagles. Sounded cool! Those eagles can be fairly bold! Especially this time of year, some are probably pretty hungry. Darn "Glorified Buzzards" !

Nice fish though. I would like to get down there and wet a line myself. The way my work schedule is looking, i might be able to run down there for a day or two mid February. If not then, it will have to wait until March. Weather permitting of course.

BTW - DRIFTER 016 is right. The links you posted aren't working my man. Just an FYI....

If you make it down there again, don't forget to send me a picture or two! You have my number... Good luck!

Nice fish, but man that hole has been getting pounded all winter. Although, I'm adding to the pressure as well.
Your bait stinks and your boat is ugly
