Default Swift recension of firearms laws in PA. / What can Alaska do ???

Is there any thing that Alaska firearms owners could encourage the Alaska Legislature to pass to prevent the loss of firearms rights for Alaskans....???

Of course that's a Yahoo story but restricting firearms discharge within town limits and required reporting of stolen firearms seem pretty common sense laws. I do agree everyone must have a say that's how our system is suppose to work. The original law was passed and should have been challenged and amended in the legislature instead of bypassed by local municipalities. Allowing law suites has to be the most backward way to try and fix how the system is suppose to work. Lawyer can F-up everything just to make themselves a couple extra bucks

Alaska (also AZ, MT and a host of others) alredy have "firearms preemption laws" That stop towns from making stupid gun laws. So what is in that story has no barring in Alaska.

Sounds great that Gun Rights groups, NOW have standing to SUE their government.

What I don't understand is why they didn't in the first place.

When the government can't be sued? Now, that's the real problem, right there.
