Chaz and I were actually throwing the idea around of running our rigs down there for a weekend this spring and harassing you

Hit it yesterday, went 3 for 3. Hit it again this morning, caught the tail end of the bite, went 1 for 2 then it went dead. Back at it tomorrow morning.DSCF1503.jpgDSCF1504.jpg

Did some experimenting today, put the outriggers back on the boat, went 4 for 5 today, fish ran a little smaller today but good for the weather. Started in the rain, then sunshine, then snow, then rain, then sunshine again.

wasn't as cold as I expected it to be today, well maybe it was but we were to busy chasing kings!!!!! Slow start to the morning, picked 4 in our normal haunt, turned one small guy back and kept 3. Then went searching for Kodiak Kings....Found some better fish. Tripled up on kings, then doubled up, then tripled up again, turned loose 2 over 20lbs and kept our 8. Finished the day going 11 for 13, releasing 2 ping ping paddle halibut as well.

Took a while off, back at it this weekend. Lots of small fish running around. Went searching today for better fish, found 4, 2 of which we boated. 23 for Shaw and Angella's first good king, 33lbs.

    Trolling herring or spoons?
Could use some advice, I suck at catching kings trolling, ie.....haven't hooked one yet.
Silvers, no problem but they are easy.

Care to share any advice....I can be taught. PM if you don't want to give away any secrets.
    Thanks,
    Bk
