Default 2015 Early BEAR or Bear tracks observed before March 30'th

OK, lets gather some research on any Bear sightings or any Bear tracks observed anywhere in Alaska. Please post the "General" location, as example: "South shore of Turnagain Arm". You can be as specific as you wish. It would be helpful if you could state Black bear or Brown bear track.

Here on the Hope Road the mountain slopes facing East through South-South West are brown even up to the tops.

2014 was a freakish early spring, 2015 might be the same or earlier.

    Thank You for participating.

On march 29th of 2009 We tagged a black bear in turnagain pass, next to berthas creek, upstream of the highway. It was starving, no fat, and I carried it one handed back to the truck. About a 5 1/2 foot sow. She also had a broken leg..... Avalanche, snowmachines, or car? Who knows.

We have a few Polar Bears left up this way.....

Late March for Brown Bears has happend a couple times, most are early April. The winters with little snow seems to be the ones Bears are out a bit early.
