I found a nice fresh rub with hair all over it a couple weeks ago but never found any sheds around it. Haven't seen any bulls in months either!

I saw 4 little bulls with horns just a few days ago, they were sparring and chasing each other around, and grunting up a storm. All around 25"-28".

They could keep them till the new ones push em out in late spring... Have seen young bulls go all winter with their antlers several times. Big boys will have dropped already, though.

I saw several with horns still today. Legal plus. Gotta be falling any day tho.

This is the time of year when you shoot a Bull Caribou in the neck or head and his antlers fly off

    Love it when that happens

Really? You're the only one to ever do that, ever.

well...this thread changed in the last hour! LOL!!!

I have heard of caribou antlers falling off when the caribou was shot late in the season.

One of the antlers on wife's caribou fell off as she turned it over to dress out the second side. The second one we had to pry a bit. This was back at the end of October and the two other bulls with it had already dropped theirs.

Saw a mid 30 inch bull last weekend north of Houston. We were surprised he hadn't dropped yet.

Saw the same up near delta. First thing I said to my wife was "he shouldn't have antlers by now".

Found these, in the back yard this am. Unfortunately, they are still being used.
