    If that was a client, you club them! If it is you, you just claim you were trying something new. We need a reel that we set the drag then remove the adjuster, but then we would have to install a thumb guard too.

    Holly $*(( we were trolling this last season and another boat started jiggin next to us and it was rough. As we trolled past em we watched as a guy jigging hooked up and immediatly lost his rod over the side, that was funny.

    One of our guys picked a brand new rod of mine out of the down rigger on a King takedown this season and it was stripped from his hand. That was hard to watch right in front of me.

    I used to run gloomis 1084C with my 870 accurate, one afternoon a couple of clients were enjoying the afternoon trolling. each had landed a king and a couple of silvers, the rod went off with a king hit! the fish sounded and the guys being all polite and all insisted on the other to grab the rod"oh you grab it, Oh no you grab it I landed one" I yelled, "someone grab the !@# rod," just then it shot out like a missile!
