To comply with all the meat hunters out there - real nice looking hindquarters.

When I was a kid I went to Utah to hunt muleys. The old boy with us ended up killing a perfectly symmetrical 4X4 (no eye guards) that was 42" wide. They all figured he went about 350# on the hoof. I wouldn't doubt it as me and another kid had to drag it off the mountain. That buck only had one nut.....they figured that was why he got so big.

On that same hunt I rounded a bend on the trail and there's a crazy non-typical laying there dead with a hat hanging on the rack. I counted 17 points on one side and 21 on the other....
Sheep hunting...... the pain goes away, but the stupidity remains...!!!

    Thumbs up

I'll say 42"... He's been around Bend for a few years now. My oldest son lived there for a few yrs and saw this buck. He got some cool pics and video as well. That buck is very well watched and protected. Look at that ol' potato digger hanging down. That's badazz! What a treat to see that caliber of buck. Kinda like a 65" bull around the airport in Anchorage. Awesome...
