Preying upon the grieving. If that isn't about as low as it gets!
I try not to do any business with companies in gun-repressive states; most notably New York.

Not to worry, I'm sure we will soon hear from *'you know who'* that this is false, will never happen, has been taken out of context, it's only rabble rousing, Etc. And should not be posted, anyway.

I looked into the validity of the claim. Fox has been known to report an occasional satire article. But it is a law. An old one. I don't think it is enforced very often considering how old it is. Which leads me to wonder why it is now coming into the news...what is the full story?

I'm guessing it's just an opportunity.

It's not unusual for those who run government to dig up a law that serves their purposes.

They want our guns, and they ain't gonna stop trying. They will settle for making it tuff and complex for the time being.

Also, they are always looking for ways to collect more money, and here's one that has been overlooked in the past.

Bloomberg probably just filled his Depend from excitement at seeing some gun relics from a by-gone era being hauled off. Those people are so stupid.

Make sure it has plenty of butter on it! Oh, and don't get the "Lime Margarita" flavored variety. Yuck.

Only good quality, real popcorn please. None of that artificially flavored microwave crap. I like a little Spike on mine too.

I sent them a letter (this was before email-err at least before I had email) stating that I wished to resign my membership and to please stop mailing me things. I got a phone call and a few more contacts by mail over the next about 2 months or so and that was it. Joining the NRA isn't like joining the CIA; you can get out, if you want.

Why did you "resign" your membership? IMO without the NRA we would all have muzzle loaders with cardboard balls
If we all agreed....this would be no fun

As a former member myself there is one big reason: after spending hours at my local range, seeing humanities finest, all of the shooters (and I mean all) that didn't follow the safety rules an were kicked out all told the range officer they were NBA members. Many producing their cards. Now when your sons are with you and ask the question "dad aren't you a member? ", not anymore. I'm all for an I.Q. test to get a gun.......
