    Default Montegue beaches

I'm planning on going out to montegue tomorrow and wondered if anyone had any advice? The type tide is just over five feet. Is that still doable?

You would be well advised to study the winds at various locations. The most recent storm is not moving in a normal manner.
Hopefully you are going to a beach which you have previously examined.

Take a look at this site for info on Montague tides and weather: http://www.tide-forecast.com/locatio...-Island-Alaska

Here is a google map with some photos of beach landings at Patton bay low tide: https://www.google.com/maps/place/59...0:0x0?hl=en-US

The low tide ended up being too high for the south side. A 5.2' low, and the waves were fairly close to the log jams. Wind wasn't bad. Had a great time.

Check out patton bay area, took my cub down yesterday and brought 2 home. Landed just after tide was moving out 10 am and had plenty of time to hunt, pack, and have lunch then take off before tide even came close to coming back up.
