    It was a burn area. And that was in the early part of the 20th century, some duke or count who was being guided by Andy Simons off Tustumena. Many of the photos and movies taken of his guiding show burned off areas.
    People are the answer and the problem: they need to take more bears, but there are just too many hunters for the resource.
