    Never even heard of that get-together, lol. What is it? They look like big Cocker Spanials.

    I believe they are a bit smaller than a cocker. They are the state dog of South Carolina. After my daughter lost her last month other Boykin owners in the valley provided support for her and shared recommendations. The result after the pup was found they decided to have a Boykin get together. And the group picked today for the party.

    Thats a great pic. I did have Cocker about 35 years ago, smart dogs but have a attiude, lol. These dogs are by far bigger than the one I had.

    Daughter's dog is about 25lbs and not quite up to her knees.

    I have yet to see a Boykin in AK until now. If I were to get a spaniel it would be a Boykin. I've thought about several times. I am still too hooked on pointing dogs....
