    Default first lite gear/clothing

Can I get some opinions on first lite? I am looking into getting some what want some other opinions on it? What do others that use it recommend for options that I should get to start out. I will be upgrading throughout the year but would like a solid layer system that can stand up to the Alaska elements! Thoughts? Thanks

I have the Llano SS and like it as a base layer. For a mid-layer, I prefer my Minus 33 quarter zip over the FL Chama, it fits me better and feels warmer. The FL Uncompahgre Puffy is a good piece of gear, although, in my opinion, it is a little heavy and bulky when you are counting ounces. Overall, the fit and finish is good and well thought out. The sizing tends to run a little big on the Uncompahgre as I had to go down a size to find one that fit me. I believe Barney's carries First Lite products now, so you can check them out first hand if you're in Anchorage.
