    Default Honda prop calculator--right on?

Looking for someone with experience using the Honda prop calculator. My brother bought that 4.8 XL Naiad and repowered it with a BF50D. Honda recommends a 3-blade 11.125 x 14 or a 3-blade 11 x 15. We're breaking it in with a 3-blade 11.6 x 11 and getting 6200 rpms at WOT. Any thoughts?

Seems like your right on with the 11.6x11. I have the same motor on my river boat. When you load the boat with gear and people it will drop in rpm which is OK as lone as you between 5500-6000 rpms at WOT. I would stick with the current break in prop unless fully loaded boat drops below 5500 rpm at WOT.

Was that the blue Naiad with the aluminum bow piece, if so I bought it new in 1996.
