My hunting partner and I filled our moose tags this fall. We spotted his bull across the valley and even though it was a crazy long distance away I let out the loudest and longest cow call that my lungs could produce. He almost instantly looked our way and started the long walk. For some reason he bedded down about 600 yards away and he didn't get up for over an hour. Eventually, I called him into 150 yards and once we verified it had 4 brow tines he dropped it in his tracks. It was his first moose and a great experience for him with all the anticipation of calling him into range and watching the whole thing from a high vantage point. I filled my tag the next evening on a 4 brow/52".
