My first guess - and it's just that, a guess - is no. I'd call him mid 40s.

We used to measure ears at that position around 24". So around 44" is my guess. Guess it at 50" its going to be one spendy moose!

There were two bulls in the draw, I think this was bull #2. Still was not sure enough.

I take pics and then graph them. They are 10" eyeball to eyeball. So far this year I have been right on. Several I saw were later poached and F&G measured them. I was within an inch each time. Someone else obviously over guessed.

No; I'd say high 30''s to low 40"s. Like SmokeRoss says, 10" eye to eye is a good way to estimate.

Bull one looks suspect from that pic, but bull 2/ pic 2 looks like a shooter.

pic 2 needs a hard look, seems like i can see a nice sticker on the left side that points straight out, might push a mid 40 over the edge.

Thank you for blessing us with your time. A living legend amongst us, Smokeross. Did you guys know he arm wrestled Jesus and beat him 2 out of 3 times?

OP- congrats on passing that one up. In the moment like that it sure is hard to do.

I'm with the mid 40's crowd, if the palm points didn't curve in so much it could squeak, but not as they are in my estimation. Should be nice next year for sure.
