    Default Sons first king!

Well the kings at ship are coming in pretty decent finally. After 3 straight weeks of fishing I have yet to land me first king, but my son managed it on his first time fishing with me there. You should have seen his face when it hit! He has never caught anything bigger than about 7 lbs before this and it took him about 10 minutes to get her in!

Congrats. Had my boy down there several years ago for his first king. Wouldn't you know it - first cast and fish on! Always good to see the kids catch fish! Thumbs up for your boy!

There were quite a few kids hooking up down there yesterday. I was pretty surprised at the number of them fishing down there. Good to see! Ty is a regular at outfishing his dad, but sometimes I think it goes to his head!

    Default Nice Going!

    Congrats!!!

My son caught his first steelhead when he was seven years old. I will never forget that day or the look on his face. It still hangs on my wall with pride.

I choose to fly fish, not because its easy, but because its hard.
