    Default Log books

Curious if anyone keeps log books on thier hunts. Weather, wind, number of decoys used, pattern, where hunted, who with, number of species of birds killed and how many etc.

I always enjoy going back and reading how every year compares. Nice to see the pattern in some and others its a 180 in differrence.

nice link for waterfowling log books if interested.

No. My shooting is way better if I don't.

I keep one, but it's mostly for photos. I try to write the highlights of a good hunt, so I'd call it more of a journal then a log.

I do; mostly just record the number and species collected in mine to fill out the HIP. I use the rite-in-the-rain waterfowlers journal. I think I got mine @ surveyors exchange in Anchorage. Got a cordura cover for it too. Just toss it in the blind bag and fill it out when things are slow.
