Default How many food saver bags for caribou ?

I'm headed to Adak soon and will have a place to cut & wrap. How many rolls of food saver bags should I bring for a bull caribou ?

Not sure about Caribou; but I go through a full box (Two 8'' rolls) of foodsaver bags for a blacktail buck. I would buy 4 boxes, you can always save what you don't use, and use it later. Hope this helps...

too much depends on size of animal, ratio of size of bag to amount of meat...

I say take as many of the large rolls as you can pack (don't take the cardboard box ect)

at least eight full rolls, maybe more..... they don't spoil!

and you will have bags for grouse and ducks if you decide to shoot some.

Note: rolled vacuum bags (empty) pack well in a rifle case

    good luck on the hunt,
    Chris
