    Default Elfin cove in May

    Just canceled trip in sept to elfin cove area. Self guided. Have been to this area 8-10 times ,but always in August-sept . Want to come in May now. Should I come early or later . Want to pick up a few kings. Thanks for your help....DB

    Later is better but it should all be good. Love fishing cross sound

    There should be some kings around in May, they won't be as thick as June/July though. If you want to get into some good king fishing, I would go in June; Late June if you can swing it.

    Big difference in the beginning of May and the end of May. I love fishing the end of May and do very well. Beginning can be skinny.
