    I was flying in Las Vegas when they were doing the same thing, GPS would be unusable for a couple hours at a time.

    So if the village you are flying to only has a GPS approach....you are SOL....

    At least its not during the busy time of year.

    Gosh - - - - - I have to wonder how Wien, Reeve, Mudhole Smith, Crossen, Don Sheldon and a lot of others would have handled all this interruption to electronic navigation?

    I fixed them, didn't turn the darn thing on today between Homer and Kenai ! Of course it was clear out,lol

    The last time they did testing it was a non event. It wasn't like GPS was turned off during the test hours.
