    Default landing tires on chugach national forest lands

    does anyone know the rules of landing wheel plane in the Cooper landing and seward areas I emailed them and have had no reply thanks

    There are basically no restrictions in landing private aircraft in Chugach National Forest. Restrictions come into play for commercial activity that extends beyond simple air taxi, ie. guiding or other on the ground services.

    This applies for all CNF land including the Wilderness Study Area around Prince William Sound. Airplane access is assured by ANILCA as traditional access means. I believe that includes all federal land in Alaska.
