    Great read!

    I agree completely with your outlook. In an era of "if it's not hi-tech it's not good enough" it's pretty rare, though. Here's hoping you can turn more than a few heads.

    That's what it's all about, isn't it? I have to admit in recent years I've killed more game with flintlocks than the really choice cartridge guns in my rack. Just a whole lot more fun.

    Yes indeed. My 50cal flintlock with 1&66 twist using patch and ball has dropped some dear. Very accurate and can put 10 shots standing at 100yds in an 8" paper plate. I love it!

    Another "Amen to that." When the salesman who sold me my truck said "oh and the radio.." I cut him off with "I don't care." Other than Country Legends in the valley, I haven't listend to broadcast radio in years. This stuff they call "country" music today is sickening. I have my iPod and there is nothing on it newer than a quarter century. I've also noticed that I am less and less willing ot tolerate other "music." These days, if it's not classic country, I won't even listen to it.
