Feeding issues, need a good smith
Just shot my new whelen and it shoots great if I shoot it like a single shot. My past smith (not using them anymore), I guess figures that a bolt gun doesnt have to feed.
Whos a good smith in the anchorage area? Is Stan still doing work?
Stan's still doing work to the best of my knowledge.
Any competent gunsmith should be able to deal with basic feeding issues, provided that the action is suitable for the round. If the action is not suitable, someone should spike the original smith's lathe.
Stan is still doing work but I heard he farms out feeding issues to another person in Anchorage. I don't know who he goes to for this.
