    Question airlines and ammo

I have heard airlines or tsa want ammo in original boxes. Is this true?

It needs to be in a box. I've taken ammo in factory boxes as well as plastic reloading boxes.

Loose in bags is a no-go.

That is a 1/2 truth. Basically can't be loose and need the primers covered.

So original manufacturer box, a case or box designed for ammo like the plastic reload ones, or even your own made one, primers covered/protected. Ammo can still be in mags/clips as well, just put a piece of tape over it so the ammo can come/pop out.

    Nothing more complicated than that.

Ammo can be in with he gun in the case or in separate bag as well.

Factory packaging or reloading boxes will make you trip most simple.
