    Default Seward Silvers/pinks/dogs ?

Doing a day trip to Seward, and the wife decides that she finally wants to learn to fish, so I was thinking of some shore fishing for a while down there. Have the silvers showed up in the bay yet? if not, I am assuming there should be more than a few pinks or dogs around. is it better by the waterfall? Or should I go out Nash road, I hear theres a few beach access spots out there.

I can honestly say I've never beach fished, so I'm going to pretend it's a river and huck some vibrax out there, any better ideas?

Don't know about Seward, but in Kodiak spoons like krocodiles catch way more salmon in the salt than spinners. Just my .02
Experience is a hard teacher because you get the test first and the lesson afterwards.

Try the beach out by Millers landing, or the trail to Tonsina creek.

Pixies or Kastmasters are going to fish much better than spinners in the ocean. Save your spinners for rivers and lakes.
