    Default Wet Bear Bait

How are bears affected by wet bait? I have probably 40 lbs of soggy dog food that the bears dumped out that is now starting to mold. Should I scoop it away or continut baiting on top of it?

    thanks

if it starts to mold they most likley will not eat it. I had that happen with bread. They would not eat it.

Just put more dog food on top of it with whatever sweetener you use. I buy the 3 gal jug of feed molasses at Sportsman Warehouse. It is a lot cheaper than honey and smells the area up nicely after a couple of days. According to the rules you need to clean up the debris from you stand when done. It is sure easier to let the bears eat it up than haul it out.
