Welcome to our AKC licensed hunting tests of the season! We are holding two separate hunt tests over the same weekend (Hunt Test #1 and Hunt Test #2). Each has all three levels (Master, Junior, Senior). Make sure you enter both tests! Hunt Test #2 also has an Owner/Handler Qualifying Stake. FRC is a member of the Master National Retriever Club. We would like to make a special welcome to our out of state participants who have come all the way up to the Interior to support our event in conjunction with their running this years NAHRA Invitational.
We are guests of the Army Corps of Engineers on the trial grounds and request that you be respectful and drive only on the roads. Do not park on the planted fields. The general public is prohibited from driving in the flood control project so the gate must be locked at all times during the trial. However, those wishing to watch the tests are welcome. The combination to the lock is 7777. Please REMEMBER, there have been revisions to the Richardson Hwy when driving from Fairbanks. You must take the Buzby-Dawson exit to get to the trial grounds. See map and directions for more detail.
We will have a tailgate (potluck) on Saturday upon completion of all tests. Please join us for laughs, dog stories and presentation of awards. Thanks for joining us this weekend and a special thanks to all who eagerly pitch in and help, especially to our judges, who have so generously donated their time. Best of luck to all of you!
