Default What was your best waterfowl hunt of the season

We're down to 100 days till we all watch the world come awake and count the seconds till the clock signals legal shooting time and that first duck swings and sets up to land in your decoys.
So let's hear your best 2013 waterfowl hunt.

160 snow geese in 2 days with Northern Skies Outfitters in SE Missouri in February. 60 degrees and sunny - hunted in t-shirts and had birds dropping all around us.

Had three warriors with me out at DL. two were fairly new to the sport. two boats, 100 decoys and we set up in my little honey hole. Three hours later we had 32 ducks. Was a great morning on the marsh, great dog work from Skeeter, great shooting, perfect cupped up mallards in flocks up to 25. Great overall hunt..

The next day we shot a 3 man limit..same spot,

The next day we shot a 3 man limit..same spot...sorry man.. I just had a great season overall last year..

I was there on a couple of those hunts, had a great time. AK has way better hunting than I had here in Maryland last year. I think I shot 1 wood duck hen, and 1 goose. It was pretty maddening to get up early in the morning to go lay out in a field and watch tons of geese fly over, but none come in...But I'd do it again in heart beat. As long as I'm waterfowling, I'm happy!

Mine had to be hunting with Duckhubter01, I was new to duck hunting. The rain didn't drive us away that day. Also was fun to see Skeeter find bird that we had no idea where they landed.

    Thanks again Duckhunter01 and Skeeter
