Default Another spotting scope pic of a biggin'

unit 13, saw this guy across the river from us, couldn't get to him, he had a sow the next afternoon. big bear. i posted a pic earlier in the season of a big bear and said a number that i thought he was, someone came down on me for being clueless so i'll just let this bear ride, but will say he's over nine foot... saw two others over eight both with sows.

    Default Clueless?

As much time as you spend hunting and skinning bears, I find it funny another would label you clueless. Thanks for sharing the pic.

well i don't know alot of your occupations so i'd guess someone new here might not know what i do...
its a great bear, bears like that are big on kodiak and the peninsula, client was chompin' at the bit to just "run right over there", i took him thru and alder patch for 50 yards and told him he'd have had 800 yards of alders on that side BEFORE he got the where the bear WAS...he decided he didn't want to go over there...lol
just good to see big animals even if you can't get to them. been seeing more nine footers in the interior last couple years. i think he's number 6 in two years in that area...almost got one of them last summer 300 yards and he did a U turn...bugger.
