It appears that you had a productive trip. I love spring out on the Sound. Here is to a great boating season!

Man the sea lice were bad ate entire bags of bait in a 5 hour soak. But we did end up with 100 plus shrimp . And a bunch of crabs most of them riders on the pots must of missed the rocky ledge and hit the mud (Let go of course) and a limit of rock fish and did not even leave Passage canal

    PEOPLE SAY I HAVE A.D.D I DON'T UNDERSTA.....OH LOOK A MOOSE !!!

Took me a little longer this spring but I am ready and loaded. Now just to get that little four letter word out of my way, WORK! GA!

Saturday was cold, wet and windy! 3 gallons of shrimp prospecting so not too bad since we dad have a couple of empty pots. Started deep for rockfish to avoid the little ones. Found a few in 150ft or so of water.

Ran into the Vava II. Holy cow...wonder if you can mount a downrigger on it somewhere! Apparently partially owned By Miss U.K. 1988 and Miss World Runnerup...dang, should have stopped by and said hello!

I ran into her in Homer last week. Impressive boat! Love the dingy up on the upper deck! Word is they are here to do some heli-skiing. They had 2 choppers coming and going off the upper deck last week.

Haha! That one is in for repair. Apparently I hit something last fall and nicked one blade and put a pretty good impression on another blade.

Learning the channel into Halibut Cove Lagoon has cost me two props.
Those that are successful in Alaska are those who are flexible, and allow the reality of life in Alaska to shape their dreams, vs. trying to force their dreams on the reality of Alaska.

If you have a tenuous grasp of reality, Alaska is not for you.
