Default Gravel bars are opening up! I love this time of year!

Spent the past few flights out looking all over the place for bears and places to play now that the bushwheels are back on.. The big su is still full of snow, but the farther north you go it is just starting to open up. Wont be long at these temps! Of course the Knik is wide open, so it was a good place to play!

It is always nice when the sun is out before the mosquitoes come out...

You lucky dog...!!! I have to say, even though I'm not a pilot, since I quite guiding in 2000', I sure miss flying around the bush.....

People that haven't flown the bush have no idea what they're missing. Some incredible things to be seen...!!!
Sheep hunting...... the pain goes away, but the stupidity remains...!!!

Killed my first couple mosquitos earlier this week. They're out.

On a thread-related note, I'm starting my tailwheel training (again) here within a couple of weeks. I am so ready to get after it!

Yes there are! I wouldn't trade the choice I made to learn to fly up here for anything!
