Default Helly Hansen imper dlx jacket?

Hey guys, I noticed that belly Hansen rain gear was for sale on the Barney's website and I was wondering if it is good quality? Would it stand up to every day rigorous use?

    thanks, Alex

I do not own it, but have hunted with others that had it. I do not think that it would hold up to everyday tradesman work. You can get heavier duty rubber gear that is cheaper.

I do want some for hunting though.

Impertech is good for hunting due to it's relatively light weight, stretchability and it's actually fairly durable. I've been using Helly's over the years with good success... the Guide Coat is fantastic unless you're hiking with a pack.

It would not be an ideal choice for commercial fishing or other occupational outside work- Helly Highline or Grundens are better for that role.
