Default Want BEARS......???? Find BIRDS, Lots & Lots of BIRDS

As the snow melts back the Ravens, Magpies, Eagles are generally first to spot winter kill Moose and Caribou. If you are spotting for bears and see a bunch of pee'ed off birds taking flight & quickly dropping back to ground and/or a lot of birds in one or two trees, you have a near 100 percent chance of having found a winter kill with a bear on the kill. Generally you want to get yourself to a elevated location and glass along creek bottoms. Happy hunting.

Perfect advise , once again, AGL4now

Its the same way I spot Wolves, and likely the same way Wolves and Bears spot kills to plunder I'm sure.

    Love them Ravens
If you can't Kill it with a 30-06, you should Hide.
