Smile Fishing along the Cassiar Hwy

I'll be driving down the Cassiar Hwy in late May/early June, my fiance and I will be in British Columbia for about 10 days, and we are looking to do as much fishing as possible. We are hoping to find good fishing for Rainbows, Grayling, and Dolly's. We are more interested in numbers then size. Any suggestions on where to stop, camp, fish? I'll take any advice I can get as this will be our 1st time in Canada. Thanks!

Be sure and take the turnoff to Hyder Ak .... there should be some Dollies in Fish Creek by then .. fish where Fish Creek runs into the Salmon River.

There are plenty of lakes and streams along the Cassiar also. Be sure to have bug dope as the mosquitoes are just waking up and hungry.

Get the Milepost ... lists roadside fishing spots.
