    Default NICE SLOT FISH! (pic)

Well it would have been if it was caught on the Kenai. Who says all the big'uns come out of there anyway?

Seriously folks, this is the first king of the season for the handsome buck hoisting that handsome buck... currently the board leader for the MatSu Derby at 52.1 pounds.

You know there's this nasty rumor out there that Chugiak dudes actually know how to catch fish.... ya think?

Great fish! Speaking of CHS, their girls soccer team is playing South today for the State title.

Truer words have never been spoken!

Been fishin' with the guy since we were in the 8th grade when Chugiak and Gruening were housed on the same campus. Even back then, the boy was definitely blessed with "the gift" when it comes to catching kings. He once caught a chrome king out of Butch's Hole in Ninilchik every bit as big as the one in the pic above. Amazing specimen out of such a tiny creek! I wonder if he still has the little Polaroid of that giant fish floating around somewhere.

31 seasons later, it's obvious he still has the touch. To be true to the title of the thread, here he is with a real "slot fish" on the Kenai.
