Default Suggestions for brand/model of dog platform (boatside)

Just wondering if anyone would like to share some pros/cons of a good/bad dog platform. I'm looking to utilize one on the side of my crestliner boat for this years's waterfall season to allow my lab to get in/out of the boat during open water retrieves.

    thanks!

Just curious... You mention crestliner, dog and duck hunting in the sentence. What type of water conditions are you going to be in?
If on or near any rough water I wouldn't even think about it. If in calmer water I would think you will have some kind of a kick ass blind for that boat. Can you post pics of the boat so we can ck it out? Might give us an idea.

    thanks

Here is a thread from last summer to take a look at, i'm sure there are many older threads you can look at also. I'm also assuming you are talking about a crestliner jon boat. One of the best made jon boats available. Bud

I saw the thread on your ladder, looked great and looks functional at a good price. Thanks for posting!

All of my hunting would be done in calm water. I don't use anything special for a blind because the boat is small and I have to conserve space and weight so I've used a PVC hoop house with camp netting. I'm looking for something lightweight, portable, and something that will not take up a ton of room so maybe something that could be broken down and stashed when not in use.
