    Smile Polly Creek Clam Trip

My son and I are headed down to Polly Creek this Sunday in the Super Cub, thought I might pass it around. Its sometimes nice not to be the only one around this early in the season.

Aw hell, your hands are only numb for a few minutes and then they warm up. I draw the line on swimming in cook inlet in any month with an "R" in it's spelling. Come to think of it I drew the line for swimming in Cook Inlet in any month about 50 years ago...

I have not been digging for many years but usually go during Early June during the largest minus tides. I especially like clam fritters.

Sage counsel, especially in warmer climes. Still, a fella shouldn't starve by waiting just a few more days.
