    Default downloading NOAA Charts?

I was told you can download NOAA charts for the modern GPS units. I have a furuno NavNet on the boat, and previous owner has the charts on a SD card, but its for Washington. Can this be done?

I have Navnet TZ and yes you can. Call Furuno tech support and they will walk you thru it.

NavNet 3D and TZ yes you can. Navnet VX2, no. Not unless something has recently changed. Your stuck with either the Navionics charts or the CN charts depending on whichever model you have.

If you have an inverter, you might just want to get a cheap tablet with a built in GPS and download charts on it.
