Default Shimano TranX / Revo NacL

I put the Abu Garcia Revo NacL reels into service two years ago and they are perfect for lighter tackle http://www.abugarcia.com/revo/lowprofile/revo-toro-nacl but I think there are some limitations on what you can expect them to do with heavier fish like halibut, Roosterfish or tuna.
The next size up of these low profile, high speed, super bait casters is the TranX. At 499 retail it is not for someone without a job but I did buy one and am going to try it jigging this summer and then bring it south with me next winter. Anyone else try one of these marvels of modern engineering??

I think if you spooled up the TranX with 50 pound spectra you could fish saltwater kings, jig halibut, fish the rivers for kings and still have a killer rod for casting poppers for Roosters and school tunas in the winters!! I am going to thrash mine this summer. Ill post the results.
