    Default Whittier Charters?

Did a search and didn't see much. If I missed it sorry.

Anyone have a good or bad experience?

Looking for a possible fishing trip end of May. I've been out of Seward before, but prefer to hear about Whittier specifically.

You didn't see much cause there ain't much there !! Google Crazy Ray's charters and there is another boat i know of called the Sweet Pea. The wasilla outdoors show is in 2 weeks i know whittier has a booth there and a few of the charters will be there also. The great alaskan sportsmens show is the weekend after the wasilla show and that's another good bet for whittier charters. What to you want to catch ?? Other ports might be a better bet, its a long ride out of whittier for most fish.

Just found out that Crazy Ray's will have a booth in the Ben Boeke this year for the Great Alaska Sportsman's show. Would be a great chance to meet them.

I've gone with Matt Kopec at Whittier Marine Charters before and he's top notch. I've heard great things about Crazy Rays, but have not fished with him before.
Your bait stinks and your boat is ugly

Glad I booked my trips then. Because it was hard to get on the boat last season. Ray and Brenda put you on all fish not just halibut. A few from last year

Saltwater Excursions would get you the chance at bigger halibut. Kristen is willing to put in the effort to get her clients a shot at trophy fish. Just check out the anchorage newspaper website as she's been featured more than once for catching big fish!

Anyone know who runs the orca? Boat name out of Whittier. Did a charter a couple summers ago. All day only 2 fish landed other than Irish lords and one was 180lbs the other about 45lbs. Not sure if that's a typical charter out of Whittier but it was exciting to see that big one caught.
