Default I hope everyone took advantage of the past two weekends!

I have had a really good pair of weekends and hopefully everyone that wanted to was able to take advantage of the epic weather we have had for a Feb in Alaska! Last weekend I joined 3 other buddies on a pike flyout. The fishing was pretty slow, but I was able to come home with two nice fish for an amazing meal.

We had a visitor halfway through the day.

And the results speak for themselves!

And now fast forward to this weekend and it was even better! Both the flying and fishing were amazing!

Awesome photos! Thanks for sharing. I'm jealous. The first spot I'm guessing is Alexander Lake. Not sure about the second lake with the burbot.

Do I get to come next year, Corey? Once I'm on skis, I'm going to be staking out your plane and following behind.

Not as adventurous but the girl reeled in her first trout before her 2nd birthday.

You're letting the cat out of the bag, man. Most of these Alaskans think you can't eat pike.

Hit up a local lake this afternoon; tough to do being out of the house 14 hours a day 6 days a week. All the chores stack up, but they'll still be there waiting for me! The nephew and niece each caught 3, including nephew's first ever on a rod, and my 3 year old got to reel one up, as well!

Hayduke, that is awesome! Mike, pike is one of my favorite fish.... Although I have to admit I love most fish! And Wes, that is a beautiful trout!
