    Default Kodiak Registration Goat?

I'm thinking about going down to Kodiak to hunt the RG480 permit.

I hunted this the last year it was a drawing permit. I'm interested to hear if anyone has hunted this in the last few years. Where you went, how the hunt went, etc. Probably looking at the first week of October.

Why wait, go this spring, still 2013!! Two guys from the forums is down there now, hunt report I assume will be shared. 2 goats is tempting, I drew a goat tag so will just wait till sept. But you could go now, and also in the fall! Just saying

Richard the goat hunting in Kodiak is at least as good as it was when you drew your tag...if not better... As far as spring hunting goats, should be a little easier with snow pushing them down, a little cooler for camping, unless your boat based. I wouldn't want to eat a late winter goat, there tough enough without a winter diet....
