Default Trail from CHSR to Chatanika

Looking for a map, gps track or good directions to ride from Chena Hot Springs Rd out to Chatanika lodge.

Ten or fifteen years ago that country was my backyard and I spent a lot of time attempting to scout a route for the same purpose. To my knowledge, there is no trail(s) which will get you all the way through that country. At best, you can take the "yellow trail" north and work your way down into the drainage SE of Fort Knox; by circumventing some gates and fences (not easy, nor recommended!) and trespassing through mining claims and private land, eventually get out via the trail/road that runs East-West, South of the mine. Unless something has changed in recent years, I don't believe that's a viable route.

There is (or used to be) a trail over the top from Chena HS to Circle HS that was a good ride...

A friend pointed me to the Fairbanks Snow Travelers website. They had 39 trails around Fairbanks with maps, gps tracks, and Google Earth links. I have already downloaded half of them to my Garmin. The trail from Nordale to Chatanika was there.
