    Default Turnagain Conditions??????? Going Saturday......

    What up peeps?
    I am Planning on taking my ski doo out Saturday... was wondering if anyone has been out to Turnagain? Conditions? Worth a trip? If it is to bad then I will just end up driving to eureka. Give me some sick insight!!! Thanks

    Spoke to rangers today. CNF will probably close tomorrow.

    They are considering closing turnagain / placer / johnson, but so far only the seward district has closed.

    Never seen so little snow, I have not used any of my snowshoes this winter. Palmer Creek "Might" be open. About 4" of old snow at sea level and the top 1/2 of the mountains are bare here in Lovely Sunrise, Alaska.

    Where's the snow 'up north' ?

    Is there even any at eureka or lake louise?

    Last pass through Eureka a couple weeks ago... hardly enough for a base layer. Only place in the state that appears to be sporting some snow is the Denali highway.
