    Default Places with Aircraft Scales ???

    Who knows anything about places with aircraft scales ?

    I know that M.A.R.C. "Missionary Aviation Repair Center" in Soldotna has scales and does aircraft weighing...

    Any other places ???

    The two W&B services everybody I know uses are R&M (Rod Miland) and Pratt Aviation (Frank Pratt) and both of those guys bring their equipment to the airplane in the ANC/MatSu area. You're a bit out of the way but that's where I'd start.

    Prices have come down quite a bit.
    I think most "larger" shops own a set. Most do here anyway.

    That said;
    R&M produces a nice laminated setup for the same money as anyone else. Its hard to beat his finished product IMO. I do my own but if I didn't I'd have R&M do it.

    I was impressed by the laminated sheets for the airplane. Dry marker and erase. Easy to carry and use and of course you have your unlaminated home file copies along with it.
