If you guys don't mind me asking what is the ABA Banquet? Haven't been in AK long enough to find all the different hunting and fishing banquets that go on.

    Thanks,

I bought my tickets and can't wait!! The gentleman I bought the ticket from filled me in on the guest speaker and I am really excited to hear him talk! Should be a great time!

A down to earth guy is my take on Tom Miranda.
Loved how he's seminar wasn't look how big of animal I shot.
He showed big, small animals and showed the human side of making bad shots.

Gary, is his presentation part of the dinner or earlier? I thought I heard someone saying it was at 3pm.

So what is a "bow running" class?

I am not sure why each year the ABA folks say you can obtain tickets at Screaming Eagle while they don't give them any tickets to sell. I guess I will have to see if I can get a ticket at the door...
In most cases, small organizations want to sell advanced tickets to have seed money. I have said it in in the past, but I wish you could actually purchase a ticket in the Valley and/or have the ability to get one on-line. I love the organization, but this annual frustration is so unnecessary IMHO.

    Here what your saying ...
This year we had issues with the web page bit it's up and running.
Last year we had tickets in the valley. This year we did not.
We cut back on handing tickets to sell for some reasons.
Pm me and I'll tell you

    Nope, you missed all points.

It is obvious from Alaska Gray's last post, I am causing him frustration, which is never been my intent. I went back to GOOGLE and did the same search again for the banquet as I had not heard from my eMail to the organization either. I have done this Search on the same laptop each time. I looked close at the Google site result and realized the SITE recommended Is From 2010, not 2014! My bad for not catching this before...why this old site comes up, is not ABA's fault. If they put it up in 2010 it should be taken it down, but it could be from someone else. I did a few variations on the name in Google, and I was finally able to find the correct site. The link previously provided on THIS thread does not work, at least not for me on this MAC. Last year I had to go to Paige to get a ticket, same problem, but she now lives in Kentucky. My guess is I went to the same bogus site last year...frustrating that I did not catch MY ERROR sooner. I wonder if others have had the same problem? I see that Screaming Eagle is NOT a site to get tickets...again, my bad I am sorry to cause grief as I did not mean to do that...just wanted tickets. I now know where I can go to get them and I hope Mr. Keller accepts my apology.

I would advise that you do not use your credit card through their website. It is not, nor has it ever been, a secure transaction.
